As soon as the safety laser scanner PSENscan is rotated by more than 30° from the horizontal, the application is classed as a vertical application. In this case, the laser scanner must observe reference points, so that any distortion of the scanner is detected. A reference point may be any object within the scanner's radius and needs no special marking. PSENscan will support vertical applications in a future version.
