Safety Design AS4024.1503 (ISO 13849)


AS4024.1503 is now an option instead of using the well known standard AS4024.1501. 

Our Safety Design AS4024.1503 course is a dedicated course for Design of Safety Related Parts of Control Systems that has been developed to enable delegates to develop a greater understanding of the safety requirements and guidance on the principles for the design and integration of safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS), including the design of software according to AS4024.1503 (ISO 13849-1/2).


By the end of the course participants will:

  • be aware of the relevant standards related to safety control systems
  • understand the necessary process from assessment to validation when designing or modifying safety related control systems
  • understand the key factors and critical parameters related to safety control systems design, with practical examples of their application
  • become familiar with PAScal software tool and design verification process
