Safe, cross-project communication

For added convenience, Firmware Release 14 is now available to download for the automation system PSS 4000.

Safe communication between devices from different projects

With Release 14, in PAS4000 you now have the option to exchange data between independent projects on the automation system PSS 4000 via FS/ST SafetyNET p RTFN. With this cross-project communication, each project can read the O-PI variables and also write to the I-PI variables on the other projects. This communication relationship is organised using the PASconnect software.

Simple to select and order new hardware

Should you wish to add more devices to your PAS4000 project, you can generate a parts list from PAS4000 as a csv file. This will contain all the products that you set up via the hardware configuration in PAS4000. You can import this list into the Pilz E-Shop so that you can see all the order numbers of the relevant components, including a price overview. So ordering via our E-Shop is quick and simple.

Projects can be encrypted

With Release 14 you can now encrypt your projects. Devices are provided with a lock, which can only be released with the appropriate project key. So you can make sure that an encrypted project will only run on the devices you intended it to run on.

For added convenience, Firmware Release 14 is now available to download for the automation system PSS 4000.
