Infrastructure components PSSnet

With the new Ethernet infrastructure components from Pilz you can adapt the network topology flexibly to your plant layout. Flexible topologies such as star, tree and ring structure are now possible thanks to Ethernet infrastructure components.

Two different switch ranges are available in the first expansion phase:

• PSSnet SLL (Switch Low Layer) for smaller networks
• PSSnet SHL (Switch High Layer) with management functions for larger networks

The benefits at a glance:

• Widest range of architecture options for Ethernet-based communication systems such as SafetyNET p
• Increases network availability and enlarges the network extension
• Enhances communication performance through network segmentation

• Extends the flexibility of the application range for Pilz systems with Ethernet interface, such as SafetyNET p, Ethernet/IP or PROFINET IO
